Hi! My name is Sage and I'm a sophomore at Columbia University studying mechanical engineering. I'm originally from NYC and in high school I was co-president of my school's Black Student Union and vice president of our I-Help Liberia chapter. Outside of school I did transportation research at NYU's BUILT Lab as a part of the ARISE Program as well as some volunteering, tutoring, and other activities. Now that I'm in college I'm more focused on exploring career paths and this past summer I interned at an engineering consulting company called HNTB in the Rail & Transit division. This coming summer I'll be exploring my interest in finance through a rotational program at a Japanese investment bank called Nomura in their New York Office. On campus, I'm a Resident Advisor, on the board of the Society of Women Engineers, and part of Columbia's Space Initiative where I'm in the micro-biology mission.
